Language use Study being done at Telugu University. Remembered only by a few older adults and is not actively spoken by anyone (Chamberlain 1997). Probably extinct. Speakers are shifting to Adivasi Oriya.
Language development Literacy rate in second language: 11.5% (1981 census).
Comments A Scheduled Tribe in India. Erroneously called Gadaba. Nearly extinct.
